a word from our
HEAD CHEF
At the age of 14 I started my career as a baker at a Patisserie called Fleur de Lys in the heart of Casablanca and thus the journey began. Over the years I have been fortunate enough to gain extensive experience in Mediterranean cuisine and I have served South Africans this mouth-watering cuisine for 22 years.
I spent a lot of my time in Bari – my favourite place in Italy and I have brought my passion for authentic Italian cuisine to the heart of Benoni. The simplicity and flavour of Italian cuisine is what inspires me to create the most amazing authentic Italian dishes for Tonino Cucina.
Tonino Cucina came as an idea to me in 2019 and with a lot of hard work and dedication the idea has come to life. My goal is to make Tonino Cucina the number one spot for family gatherings, special occasions, and functions for all. We are here to serve the Benonian community and to make a special place where all can celebrate life’s biggest moments.
