HISTORY
Tonino was founded in July 2021 by our top chef and owner Antonio who wanted to bring a little bit of Italy to the Benoni area.
Our food is authentic artisanal Italian cuisine and even if you are not hungry yet, as the Italians say “L’appetito view mangiando” – the appetite comes while you are eating.

Our menu is inspired by the city of Naples with our authentic artisanal Neapolitan pizzas, made with sourdough and firewood baked in our pizza oven, topped with deliciousness.
Our specialty dishes are what keeps our loyal customers coming back for a dining experience in Italy. A favourite is our Ossobuco, a traditional Italian dish served on polenta. It is definitely a must-have when visiting Tonino Cucina.
